The NSI Casting application is packaged as a purpose built LBOT appliance, fitted with up to 7 USB Bluetooth 'dongles' for high-speed transmission to both individuals or group audiences within a 100-150m range. Content is sent to devices in an 'opt-in' or 'opt-out' paradigm; once a person has received content, or rejects it, they will not be prompted again to avoid spamming.

Management of the LBOT is via a web based GUI. Users can setup multiple campaigns where different content can be sent at predefined date/time intervals. The LBOT can be connected to an Ethernet LAN for remote management, or alternatively use WiFi or 3G/GPRS wireless connections.
