NSI has developed a standalone Internet appliance, termed LBOT (“Little Box of Tricks”), targeted at like minded professionals frustrated at the lack of functionality and customization that off-the-shelf products deliver. LBOT has a Fedora Linux kernel optimized for networking, security and speed. LBOT is fully customizable and built entirely from Open Source software. |

The LBOT source has been compiled onto a small form factor appliance for distribution. The appliance itself is a 1Ghz Celeron Pentium system with 1GB of memory and 80GB HDD. The LBOT hardware comes standard with 5x USB, serial, parallel, video, and 4x100Mb/s LAN ports. Optional devices include a ADSL modem or WiFi card. LBOT is virtually silent, making it ideal for Home Office and Small Business use. |
